Victoria Gets Her Ears Pierced!

Another Milestone In The Books 

Victoria has been asking constantly about when she can get earrings. Justin and I decided a few years ago we would wait until 8! Well here we are approaching Victoria’s 8th birthday and we felt it was the perfect time. She is old enough to truly appreciate it and to take care of the earrings, cleaning them daily. We decided yesterday was the day. I did some research and several people were anti mall piercings. I initially made her an appointment at a more formal place and later cancelled it. On second thought, I loved the Claire’s experience and mine healed just fine. So to Claire’s at Crabtree we went!

We walked in and the ladies were so sweet and helped her pick out her earrings and told her it won’t even hurt as much as a shot. They tag teamed it and each pierced one ear. It was done in seconds. Victoria was so brave and didn’t even flinch. She said she was expecting it to hurt more. A big milestone for our almost 8 year old. She can’t stop smiling with her new accessory!
